This was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It was achingly slow throughout with a weak plot and undeveloped characters. Save your money.

It's funny to see the spread of ratings. I'll save you some time, if you want to pay close attention to a movie that is excellently written, excellently acted and artfully shot, then go see this. If you are looking for a slick, fun spy movie, go see something else. This movie does a great job of putting you in the life of Clooneys character. You feel his tension, his paranoia. This is not so much a movie as an experience, if you pay attention and are patient you will feel like you are there with him. However again, this movie will not be for everyone. This is not a Bond movie ( I am a big fan). This is a slowly paced drama that you have to follow from scene one to get. Hope you enjoy it

If you caught the allusion to Sergio Leone and the "Spaghetti Westerns" you'd know that this is a real movie, not an escapist fantasy.

If your age/mentality is an equal ratio to the number of stars you give it that explains why you did or didn't like it. If you gave 2 or fewer stars you'll never, never understand what I just said either.

I can't give this movie more than 2 stars..very slow to get started and really never got going. George had the same facial expression through the entire movie...I couldn't wait til it was over....

Very slow moving...lacks action. The rating of 14A is very misleading... many parents would not want a 14yr old to see the total nudity/sex.

Scenery was beautiful, however I found that the movie moved a little slow considering it was George Clooney that was the main actor in this film.

I'd watch Clooney in anything but I think the ending was a cop-out. Enjoyed it overall, but not Oscar material.

This movie was a HUGE breath of fresh air. A break from special effects, CGI, and cheezey acting. If you would like to see just how good of an actor George Clooney is, you may want to see this. There was very little soundtrack, which was a perfect compliment to the movie, because it forced me to really focus on the way the actors conveyed their emotions. It brought tears to my eyes at the end. It isn't the type of movie you'd expect from watching the previews.
